Taking small, simple action steps is a good way to get some beneficial prosperity energy flowing through your life – but what kind of action should you take? Below are three simple steps to get you started:
Give to Others What You Want to Receive
There’s no doubt about it; giving to others makes you feel good! And when you feel good, you automatically begin attracting good things into your life. Even better, you can use this process to attract specific qualities into your life by finding a way to share those same qualities with others.
If you want to attract more money, start giving money to causes that are important to you. If you want to attract a loving relationship, start sharing your love more freely with others. If you crave more meaning in your daily life, find ways to make the lives of other people more meaningful. Even if you don’t have a lot of time, money, or energy to share, remember that small gestures can still have a very large impact and create a strong attraction for goodness to flow back to you.
Dare to Dream Bigger
Have you ever held yourself back from setting bigger goals because you were afraid you might fail to achieve them? After one or more painful failures early in our lives, most of us decided to squelch down our dreams and settle for “safer” endeavors so we never have to feel that way again. Unfortunately, such a habit only keeps us feeling dissatisfied. If you want to expand your perceived limitations in a fun and easy way, try the following exercise.
Grab a notebook and pen and find a quiet place to be alone. Clear your mind and then try to imagine the biggest, grandest goal for your life that you can. Make it big enough that you have no idea how to make it happen, but still realistic enough so that you can see yourself living it. Write this goal down in detail, ask the universe to show you how to make it happen, and then stay alert to any insights or nudges you may get about actions that would move you toward achieving it. By expanding your realm of possibilities in this way, you minimize any fear of failure and make success much more likely.
Build Your Belief
Low self-worth is a chronic problem for many people – and the most challenging thing about it is that we may not even realize we have it! The good news is that there is an easy way to tell if low self-worth may be hindering your ability to attract what you want. Right now, think about something you want and have been trying to attract.
Then grab a sheet of paper and write down, “I deserve to have (fill in your desire here).” Read that statement to yourself a few times, and notice how you feel. If you really do believe you deserve it, you will feel calm and confident about it. If you are holding any resistance to that belief you will feel a twinge of guilt, doubt, uncertainty, or fear pop up. This is a clear sign that you need to work on strengthening your belief that you deserve the things you want.
